An excerpt from the new Corporate Eco Forum Research Series report looks closer at the importance of key innovation innovation drivers and shares one case study for developing a company-wide eco-strategy.

The Corporate Eco Forum (CEF) is an invitation-only annual
gathering of senior executives from Global 500 corporations. This
unique forum is designed to produce actionable insights based on
“real-world” successes that will deliver ROI today and in the future.
The CEF Annual Meeting draws together senior executives from across functions and industries to review successful state-of-the-art eco strategies and their implementation. The agenda is driven by in-depth, pre-conference research and shaped by an esteemed Advisory Board and Leadership Council of practitioners intimately familiar with the challenges of building sustainability into core business strategy and operations.
Held at The Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco on September 8-9, 2008, the Annual Meeting combines on-the-record CEO plenary panels with smaller, not-for-attribution, interactive peer-to-peer sessions. CEF members will work together to drive collective understanding of best practices, operationalize eco strategies and tools, and stimulate innovation.
